Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a laser protection device for protecting a wearer, in particular for protecting their eyes, from laser beams. Furthermore, the invention is directed to a laser protection arrangement comprising such a laser protection device. Laser safety goggles are known from prior art due to obvious prior use. If the wearer suffers from visual impairment and must wear corrective glasses, comfort or laser protection may be compromised. This poses risks. The invention is based on the object of overcoming the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a laser protection device is to be provided that offers the wearer extremely high levels of laser protection and comfort during use. Furthermore, it is to be practical to handle. A corresponding laser protection assembly is also to be provided. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in main claims 1 and 13. The core of the invention lies in the fastening devices, which, if desired or necessary, allow the attachment of at least one frontal adapter or nose adapter. The laser safety device can thus be individually adapted, for example, to the wearer, a use, an environment, and / or application. The laser safety screen can be worn or used with or without the at least one frontal adapter. It can be worn or used with or without the at least one nose adapter. It can be worn or used with or without prescription glasses. The double-sided laser safety screen is a two-pane or double-pane laser safety device. During use, it is positioned in front of both eyes of the wearer, thus protecting both eyes. The wearer is then able to see through the laser safety screen with both eyes. Double-sided here means that the laser safety screen is specifically designed to cover and protect both eyes. It is advantageous if the laser safety screen is comparatively small and lightweight. This allows for cost-effective and resource-efficient production. The laser safety screen is preferably frameless and, ideally, symmetrical. Different laser safety screens can be used. It is advisable for the laser safety screen to have a laser protection coating. It is advantageous if it has a scratch-resistant coating on the outside. It is advantageous if it has an anti-fog coating on the inside. A different arrangement of at least one coating is possible. The laser safety screen is preferably also capable of protecting the wearer from chemical and / or mechanical influences. The nose recess is preferably open at the bottom. It is advantageous if it is limited to the sides and at the top. Advantageously, at least one front adapter and / or nose adapter can be replaced without tools. It is expedient if the at least one end-face adapter can be fastened to the laser safety screen by means of the first fastening device in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner, such as a latching action. The first fastening device preferably comprises at least one first fastening means, such as a shoulder, projection, recess, opening, or the like, arranged, for example, at the edge, for the detachable and replaceable fastening of at least one end-face adapter. For example, the at least one end-face adapter has at least one complementary first counter-fastening means. The first fastening device is preferably arranged or formed on the inside and / or outside of the laser protection screen. For example, it is arranged or formed in the laser protection screen. The second fastening device is arranged at a distance from the first fastening device. The at least one nose adapter can preferably be fastened to the laser safety screen in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner. The second fastening device preferably differs from the first fastening device. It is expedient if it has at least one second fastening means, such as a shoulder, projection, recess, opening, or the like, arranged, for example, at the edge, for the detachable and replaceable fastening of at least one nose adapter. It is advantageous if the at least one nose adapter has at least one complementary second counter-fastening means. The second fastening device is preferably arranged or formed on the inside and / or outside of the laser protection screen. It is arranged or formed, for example, in the laser protection screen. The at least one end adapter is preferably rigid and made of plastic. It is advantageous if it is (essentially) symmetrical. The at least one nose adapter is, for example, flexible or yielding at least in a nasal contact area. It is preferably made of one piece and comprises, for example, plastic. Advantageously, the at least one nose adapter is symmetrical. The at least one nose adapter and the at least one front adapter are connected to each other, for example, as if in one piece or permanently. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims. The nose recess according to dependent claim 2 results in a versatile laser protection device. The opening width is preferably comparatively large. It allows, for example, the attachment of at least one nose adapter and / or the accommodation of a nose pad of a pair of prescription glasses worn additionally. It is expedient if the opening width, particularly horizontally, is at least 24 mm at a position 20 mm below the upper vertex of the nose recess. It is advantageous if it is at most 45 mm there. The design according to subclaim 3 results in particularly high wearing comfort. It allows, for example, the attachment of at least one nose adapter. The depth, particularly vertical depth, is advantageously a maximum of 50 mm. The depth preferably extends downwards to an adjacent lower edge of the laser safety screen. The laser protection device according to subclaim 4 is particularly user-friendly. The folds according to subclaim 5, for example, delimit the nose recess laterally outwards. It is expedient if the folds are integrally connected to the actual laser safety screen or its base body. The folds are, for example, connected to each other at the top. Alternatively, they can be designed separately. The nose adapter according to subclaim 6 can be clamped to the laser safety screen. The folds allow, for example, a secure location of the nose adapter. The laser safety screen according to subclaim 7 is very user-friendly. It is particularly easy to combine or wear with other glasses, such as (optical) prescription glasses. It is advisable for the laser safety screen to have a width of at least 105 mm. The frame adapter according to subclaim 8 allows, for example, a detachable, direct or indirect connection of a frame to the laser safety screen. The frame adapter and the frame are connected to each other, for example, as a single piece. The frame preferably has two temples and a frame body connecting them. The temples are, for example, foldable, in particular foldable and extendable. The frame body is, for example, web-like. Alternatively, the frame is, for example, made of one piece and preferably bendable or flexible at least in certain areas. The handling adapter according to subclaim 9 allows for particularly good handling of the laser safety screen when mounted. The laser safety screen can thus be manually held or moved without directly touching it. The handling adapter is preferably capable of inserting and / or removing the laser safety screen behind prescription glasses, preferably with one hand. It is expedient for the handling adapter to have at least one handling means, such as a handling area or handle. It forms, for example, a handle adapter. According to subclaim 10, either the handling adapter or the mount adapter can be inserted or attached. A change mechanism is thus created. The laser protection device or laser protection arrangement can be designed in different ways. The laser safety screen according to dependent claim 11 is preferably designed without discontinuities, such as kinks, edges, or the like. It is, for example, continuously curved throughout or across its entire width. However, the radius of curvature is not the same everywhere. For example, the laser safety screen has locations or regions with differing radii of curvature. The transitions are preferably smooth. It is expedient if the radius of curvature is constant. The laser protection screen according to subclaim 12 is particularly easy to handle and manufacture. It is preferably made of plastic. The prescription glasses according to dependent claim 15 preferably have at least one prescription lens and two prescription temples connected directly or indirectly to the lens, which can be folded in or out, for example. They are optical glasses. The terms “front”, “frontal”, “rear”, “back”, “top”, “bottom”, “vertical” and “horizontal” as used herein refer to the intended wearing of the laser safety assembly or laser safety device by a wearer. A preferred embodiment of the invention is described below by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings. These show: Fig. 1 is an exploded view of a laser protection arrangement according to the invention, illustrating a laser protection screen and a handling adapter. Fig. 2 is a partial section illustrating the attachment of the handling adapter shown in Fig. 1 to the laser protection screen. Fig. 3 is a front view of the laser protection screen shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the laser protection arrangement illustrated in Fig. 1 in the assembled and worn state in conjunction with prescription glasses. Fig. 5 is a front view of Fig. 4. Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the laser protection screen illustrated in Fig. 1 with a mounted frame adapter or a mounted frame. Fig. 7 is an isolated partial perspective view of the frame adapter or frame shown in Fig. 6.8 is a partial view showing the laser safety screen and the socket adapter shown in Fig. 6 from below, Fig. 9 is a perspective view of a nose adapter that can be fastened to the laser safety screen shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 10 is an end view of the nose adapter shown in Fig. 9, Fig. 11 is a perspective view showing the laser safety screen and the socket adapter shown in Fig. 6 together with the socket together with a mounted nose adapter, Fig. 12 is an enlarged partial section of Fig. 11 showing the mounted nose adapter, and Fig. 13 is a view showing the mounted nose adapter shown in Fig. 12 from below. Referring first to Fig. 1 , Fig. 3, a laser protection arrangement or laser protection device comprises a one-piece laser protection disk 1 which is symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry ES. The laser safety screen 1 has a central nose recess 2, which is spatially limited to the sides and top. At the top, the nose recess 2 forms an upper vertex 3. Conversely, the nose recess 2 is open downwards and extends through the laser safety screen 1. It widens downwards from the upper vertex 3. At the vertex 3, the nose recess 2 is curved. The nose recess 2 has a vertical depth T between 32 mm and 50 mm, extending from the upper vertex 3. At a vertical distance D from the upper vertex 3 downwards, the nose recess 2 has a horizontal width BN between 24 mm and 45 mm. The distance D is 20 mm. The laser safety screen 1 has a total horizontal width B, which extends from a first side region to a second side region of the laser safety screen 1. The width B is between 105 mm and 135 mm. It is preferably the shortest distance between the side regions or side ends. The laser safety screen 1 is curved across its entire width B. From the plane of symmetry ES, the laser safety screen 1 extends backward on both sides. The laser safety screen 1 has a frontmost point adjacent to the nose recess 2. The laser safety screen 1 has a straight edge 4 at the top. The laser safety screen 1 also has two fastening projections 5, preferably block-shaped, above the nose recess 2 and adjacent to the upper edge 4 on the front side. The fastening projections 5 are arranged at a distance from the plane of symmetry ES. A different number of fastening projections 5 is alternatively possible. For example, only one fastening projection 5 is present. Furthermore, the laser safety screen 1 comprises at least one fold 18, which projects rearwardly, at least laterally adjacent to the nose recess 2. As illustrated, for example, in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, a dimensionally stable, one-piece handling adapter 6 of the laser protection arrangement or laser protection device comprises a base body 7. The handling adapter 6 has two grip projections 8 arranged laterally at a distance from one another, which, in the assembled state, each project forward and upward from the base body 7. The grip projections 8 extend from above, preferably curved laterally outwards, and each form an outer gripping surface. The handling adapter 6 can thus be securely grasped, for example, with two fingers, such as the thumb and index finger, of a wearer or user. The handling adapter 6 also has two front fastening projections 9 at the bottom, which are arranged at a distance from each other. Each fastening projection 9 projects downward from a grip projection 8 and has a lower gripping body 10 on the base side, which projects backward. Furthermore, the handling adapter 6 has a central rear contact body 11 at the bottom, which projects downward from the base body 7. The contact body 11 is arranged between the fastening projections 9. It is, for example, plate-shaped, web-shaped, block-like, or the like. The handling adapter 6 is (essentially) symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry EH. For example, the fastening projections 9 are arranged asymmetrically and preferably form an end stop. This clearly defines an assembly direction, for example. A completely symmetrical design of the handling adapter 6 is possible. When the handling adapter 6 is mounted, the base body 7 extends adjacent to the upper edge 4 of the laser safety screen 1. It preferably rests there at least in part and runs (essentially) above the laser safety screen 1. The front fastening projections 9 run in front of the fastening lugs 5 or overlap them. The lower gripping bodies 10 engage under the fastening lugs 5 or extend below them. The contact body 11 extends behind the laser safety screen 1 and adjacent to it. There, it rests against it at least in part. The planes of symmetry ES and EH coincide. The handling adapter 6 is thus detachably and replaceably attached to the laser safety screen 1. The handling adapter 6 is attached to the laser safety screen 1, for example, by a relative pivoting and / or sliding movement between them. The detachment is essentially analogous. Using the grip projections 8, a wearer is able to grasp the handling adapter 6 and handle the laser safety screen 1, such as holding it, moving it, or the like. The laser safety screen 1 itself does not need to be touched. When worn, the laser safety screen 1 extends in front of both eyes of the wearer. As shown in Fig. 4, the laser safety screen 1, together with the attached handling adapter 6, can be worn by a wearer 13 with corrective glasses 12. The laser safety screen 1 can also be worn by the wearer 13 with the corrective glasses 12 without the handling adapter 6. The prescription glasses 12, for example, have two separate, adjacent lenses 14 and a frame 15 that supports the lenses 14. The frame 15 spatially defines a nosepiece 16. Two prescription temples 17 are hinged laterally to the frame 15. A frameless design is also possible, for example. When worn, the spectacle lenses 14 extend in front of the laser safety screen 1. Conversely, the laser safety screen 1 is arranged behind the spectacle lenses 14. The laser safety screen 1 thus forms an insert that is arranged between the eyes of the wearer 13 and the spectacle lenses 14. The nose of the wearer 13 extends through the nose recess 2 and the spectacle nose recess 16. For example, when worn, the prescription glasses 12 rest against the nose of the wearer 13 in the area of its nose recess 16 and are supported there. Alternatively or additionally, the laser safety screen 1 rests against the nose, for example, against the bridge of the nose and / or the nostrils, and / or against the cheeks of the wearer 13 in the area of its nose recess 2. The laser safety screen 1 may also rest on any nose pad of the prescription glasses 12, on the lenses 14 and / or the frames 15 thereof. The temples 17 of the prescription glasses provide additional support and rest against the head of the wearer 13 or their ears. A lower boundary surface of the fastening projections 9 is designed, for example, as a contact surface 9a, which, when the laser safety screen 1 is inserted, preferably rests on the upper edge of the prescription glasses 12, in particular the frame 15. As illustrated in Fig. 6, a mount adapter 19 is attached to the laser safety screen 1 instead of the handling adapter 6. The mount adapter 19 is (essentially) symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry EF and is, for example, a one-piece construction. A frame, which is, for example, a single piece, is attached to the laser safety screen 1 via the frame adapter 19. The frame has two temples 20 and a central frame body 21 connecting them. The frame body 21 supports the frame adapter 19, two front fastening projections 22, and a rear contact body 23, which are arranged and configured like the front fastening projections 9 and the contact body 11 of the handling adapter 6. The arrangement or fastening of the socket adapter 19 to the laser safety screen 1 is analogous to the fastening or arrangement of the handling adapter 6 to the laser safety screen 1, to which reference is made. The symmetry planes EF and ES coincide in the assembled state. In addition to the mount, a nose adapter 24 is also attached to the laser safety screen 1 (Figs. 9 to 13). The nose adapter 24 is symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry EN and is constructed in one piece. It is (essentially) U- or V-shaped and adapted to the shape of the nose recess 2 of the laser safety screen 1. The nose adapter 24 has a nose adapter base body 25. The nose adapter base body 25 comprises two side legs 26 and an upper connecting body 27 connecting them. Each side leg 26 carries a contact web 28 at the front, which is, for example, thin-walled. Each side leg 26 also carries a counter body 29 at the rear, which, at least in some areas, in the undeformed state, if deformable, projects toward the adjacent contact web 28 and is designed, for example, as a clamping lip. A joint 30 is formed through each contact web 28 and the adjacent counter body 29. In each joint 30, a clamping element 32, such as a clamping projection, clamping ramp, clamping block, clamping web, or the like, is arranged adjacent to a free end 31 of the respective contact web 28. When the nose adapter 24 is assembled, the laser safety screen 1 engages in the joints 30, preferably with the folds 18. The folds 18 are, for example, engaged over or behind by the nose adapter 24. The contact webs 28 extend in front of the laser safety screen 1 and rest against its front edge. The counter bodies 29 extend behind the edge of the laser safety screen 1 and adjacent to it. They run opposite the contact webs 28. The clamping elements 32 rest against the rear of the laser safety screen 1. The nose adapter 24 is thus clamped to the laser safety screen 1. The nose adapter 24 reduces the size of the nose recess 2. Each side leg 26 extends adjacent to an area of the laser safety screen 1 that delimits the nose recess 2. The planes of symmetry EN and ES coincide in the assembled state. The nose adapter 24 is pushed onto the folds 18 from below for its fastening. As shown in Fig. 11, the laser safety screen 1, in conjunction with the frame adapter 19, the frame, and the nose adapter 24, can be worn by the wearer even without prescription glasses 12. The wearer's nose engages with the nose adapter 24 between its side legs 26 or passes through the nose adapter 24. The nose adapter 24 rests, at least in part, against the wearer's nose and is supported there. The temples 20 provide additional support and rest against the wearer's head or ears. The frame adapter 19 or the frame ensures, in particular, that the laser safety screen 1 fits correctly and is held in place when no prescription glasses 12 are worn. The nose adapter 24 provides particularly high wearing comfort. It is used only when no prescription glasses 12 are worn.
