Abstract

The invention relates to a luggage rack arrangement (5) for a motor vehicle (1), comprising a cross member having fastening devices (6) on both sides for attaching the cross member to a body (2) of the motor vehicle (1), each fastening device (6) having a support element (7) for support against a side wall frame (3) of the motor vehicle (1) that defines a vehicle opening (4), and a gripping element (8) for gripping under the side wall frame (3). An additional holder (10) is provided, which can be attached to the side wall frame (3) and which forms several insertion pockets (15, 17) into which retaining projections (16, 18) of the gripping element (8) can be inserted to secure the cross member. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle (1) with a luggage rack arrangement (5) and to a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle (1).
