Abstract
The invention relates to a method (8) for operating a battery-electric motor vehicle (1), wherein a callable drive power (AL) is provided for accelerating the motor vehicle (1), which is fully called up at full load (VL) and only partially called up at partial load (TL), wherein the motor vehicle (1) can be operated in several operating modes selectable by a driver, which include at least one standard operating mode and one boost operating mode, wherein in the boost operating mode a greater callable drive power (AL) is temporarily provided for a predetermined boost time (9) than in the respective standard operating mode. An improved driving experience can be achieved by increasing the currently requested drive power (17) by a predetermined power value at the beginning (16) of the boost time (9) if the boost operating mode is switched on while the vehicle (1) is operating at partial load (TL) with a currently requested drive power (AL).
