Abstract

The invention relates to a differential lock for blocking compensating movements between output shafts (1) of a differential gear (2) of a vehicle, comprising a sliding sleeve (3) non-rotatably connected to one of the output shafts (1) and axially displaceable thereon, the sliding sleeve having a first row of teeth (4) and a second row of teeth (5) on an outer circumferential surface, a sleeve (7) non-rotatably connected to a differential carrier (6) having a first row of teeth (8) and a second row of teeth (9) on an inner circumferential surface, and an axially movable piston (10) which bears at least indirectly against the sliding sleeve (3) and can be subjected to pressure to axially displace the sliding sleeve (3), wherein in a locked state of the differential lock the first row of teeth (4) on the sliding sleeve (3) engages the first row of teeth (8) on the sleeve (7) and the second row of teeth (5) on the sliding sleeve (3) engages the second row of teeth (9) engages the sleeve (7),to connect the differential basket (6) to the output shaft (1) in a rotationally fixed manner.
