Abstract

The invention relates to a stator (1) for an electric machine (2), comprising at least one stator tooth (3), wherein the stator tooth (3) comprises at least one pole shoe arrangement (6), the pole shoe arrangement (6) comprising a pole shoe (7) formed from a multiferroic material, the pole shoe arrangement (6) comprising an anode (A) and a cathode (K) spaced apart from the anode (A), which are arranged on the pole shoe (7), and wherein an electrical voltage can be applied or is applied between the anode (A) and the cathode (K). The invention further relates to an electric machine (2) with such a stator (1) and a method for operating the electric machine (2).
