Spreading system and method for producing a spreading mat during the production of material panels

Abstract

The present invention relates to a spreading system and a method for producing a multi-layered spreading mat made of free-flowing material during the production of material panels. In the spreading system, a top layer (DS) on the outer surface of the spreading mat (8) is produced in a first or last spreading head (1) by means of a wind spreading chamber from the finer fractions of the material stream (11) on an endlessly rotating forming belt (7). Furthermore, by means of at least one distribution device (4), designed as a roller bed (5) consisting of parallel rotatable spreading rollers, the coarser fractions of the fed material stream (10) are distributed below the gas stream (17) and transferred to the forming belt (7). For the purpose of dividing the material stream, at least one flow resistance is provided in the gas stream (17), with which at least some of the coarser fractions of the material stream (11) are separated and transferred to the distribution device (4).The invention for the method consists in that coarser portions of the material flow of the middle layer (MS) are spread evenly or homogenized onto the forming belt (7) with at least one further roller bed (6) at least partially below the first roller bed (5) of the distribution device (4) and with spreading rollers rotating in the opposite direction of rotation to the first roller bed (5).
