Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a motor vehicle, preferably a commercial vehicle. Temperature control systems in motor vehicles, such as heating and air conditioning units, typically have freely suspended components, such as valves for controlling fluid flow through pipes, which must be held separately. Such mountings in modern vehicles are subjected to high static and dynamic loads due to the typically cramped installation space and the resulting relatively long lever arm. Common mountings, for example for a solenoid valve, are therefore usually too weak and are subjected to one-sided stress, leading to extreme vibrations at the valve. This poses a risk of damage to the mounted component and / or surrounding components. Another requirement for such brackets is a solution that is as lightweight as possible. One object of the invention can therefore be seen as providing a mounting for a motor vehicle component, in particular a valve of a motor vehicle's temperature control system. In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a solution optimized with regard to load-bearing capacity and weight. These tasks are solved by a motor vehicle with the features of the independent claim. Advantageous further developments are specified in the dependent claims and the description. According to a first aspect, a motor vehicle will be provided. Preferably, the motor vehicle will be a commercial vehicle. The motor vehicle has a vehicle front surface (e.g. a motor vehicle front mask), a motor vehicle temperature control system, a cross member and a fastening device. The vehicle temperature control system includes a valve (e.g., a solenoid valve). The crossbar is positioned between the vehicle's front surface and the valve, viewed in a longitudinal direction. The mounting device comprises a crossbar mounting area, a central area, and a valve mounting area. The mounting device is connected to the crossbar via the crossbar mounting area(s) (e.g., attached to and / or fastened to it). The valve is connected to the mounting device via the valve mounting area(s) (e.g., attached to and / or fastened to it). The central area connects the crossbar mounting area and the valve mounting area. The central area is designed as a tube (e.g., a hollow cylindrical tube). One advantage is that the load-bearing capacity of the fastening device is increased. Furthermore, the weight of the fastening device can be reduced. In other words, a remarkably rigid yet lightweight solution can be provided. Advantages can include, for example, reducing deformation of the fastening device and / or increasing the vibration frequency of the fastening device. It is conceivable that the crossbar mounting area is indirectly connected to the crossbar and / or via other components. Alternatively or additionally, the valve mounting area can be indirectly connected to the valve and / or via other components. However, the crossbar mounting area and / or the valve mounting area can also be attached directly to the crossbar or the valve, respectively. The cross brace can be attached, for example, to structural components of the vehicle and / or the vehicle's front surface. The cross brace can be a front longitudinal crossmember. The cross brace can be a tube, preferably with tube ends deformed into flat bodies (through which, for example, a fastener such as a screw passes). The cross brace can form a rigid support. It is conceivable that the crossbar mounting area and / or the valve mounting area has bores through which fasteners (e.g. screws, etc.) can be guided. For example, it could be a motor vehicle that, by its design and equipment, is specifically designed for transporting people, goods, or towing trailers. For example, a commercial vehicle could be a truck. According to one embodiment, the central section can have a vertical section (e.g., running essentially along the vertical direction of the vehicle) and a horizontal section (e.g., running essentially along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle). The vertical section and the horizontal section can be connected to each other by a kink and / or a bend. In other words, the vertical section can be followed by the kink and / or bend to which the horizontal section connects. This can advantageously reduce the stress on the central area. According to one embodiment, the kink and / or bend can have a bending angle (e.g. according to M 3003-1) of at least 80°, at least 90° or at least 100°. For example, the vertical section and the horizontal section can be essentially orthogonal to each other. Alternatively or additionally, the kink and / or bend can have a bending radius (e.g. according to M 3003-1) that corresponds to at least 1 / 4, at least 1 / 3 or at least 1 / 2 of the total length of the vertical section in the vehicle vertical direction. Alternatively or additionally, the vertical section can be shorter than the horizontal section. This can result in a further reduction in the stress on the central area. According to one embodiment, the central region (e.g., each) can be materially bonded at its ends to the crossbar mounting area and / or to the valve mounting area. For example, the central region has an end facing the crossbar mounting area that is materially bonded to the crossbar mounting area. Alternatively or additionally, the central region can have an end facing the valve mounting area that is materially bonded to the valve mounting area. Particularly preferably, the central area is welded at its end to the crossbar mounting area and to the valve mounting area (e.g. by means of a butt weld or a fillet weld). Due to its comparatively high strength, a welded connection is particularly suitable for connecting the central area with the crossbar mounting area and with the valve mounting area. According to one embodiment, the central section can have at least one pipe end shaped (e.g., deformed) into a flat body. Preferably, this pipe end is the one facing the crossbar mounting area. However, it is also conceivable that, alternatively or additionally, the pipe end facing the valve mounting area is shaped into a flat body. This can, for example, facilitate the attachment of the crossbar mounting area to the central area (e.g. by welding). According to one embodiment, the crossbar mounting area and / or the valve mounting area (e.g., each) can be plate-shaped. Preferably, the crossbar mounting area and / or the valve mounting area (e.g., each) is designed as a sheet metal body. This can, for example, further increase the load-bearing capacity of the fastening device. According to one embodiment, the crossbar mounting area and the crossbar mounting area can define planes that are arranged essentially parallel to each other and offset. For example, it is conceivable that the crossbar mounting area spans a first plane and the valve mounting area spans a second plane, with the first plane and the second plane not intersecting. According to one embodiment, the crossbar mounting area, viewed in a vertical direction of the vehicle, can be arranged below the valve mounting area. For example, the crossbar mounting area can be offset from the valve mounting area towards the vehicle's ground contact surface. Alternatively or additionally, the crossbar mounting area and the valve mounting area can be arranged offset from each other in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. Preferably, the valve mounting area is offset to the rear relative to the crossbar mounting area in the opposite direction of (forward) travel of the motor vehicle. According to one embodiment, the motor vehicle can have a carrier plate by means of which the crossbar mounting area is attached to the crossbar (e.g. screwed on). In other words, the cross brace mounting area does not have to be attached directly to the cross brace. It is also conceivable that the cross brace mounting area is attached to the cross brace indirectly via at least one other component, such as the support plate. The valve mounting area does not necessarily have to be attached directly to the valve. It is also conceivable that the valve mounting area is attached to the valve indirectly via other components. The support plate can have a first mounting area to which the crossbar mounting area is attached, and a second mounting area for attachment to the crossbar. According to one embodiment, the valve mounting area can have a contact surface facing forward in the (e.g., forward) direction of travel, to which the valve is attached (e.g., by means of a screw connection passing through bores in the contact surface). In other words, the valve mounting area can engage behind the valve. According to one embodiment, the crossbar mounting area can have a contact surface facing forward in the direction of travel, by means of which the fastening device (e.g. via the support plate) is attached to the crossbar. According to one embodiment, the central area can have an L-shaped profile when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. For example, the central area can have the shape of a horizontal L. According to one embodiment, the valve can be a solenoid valve designed to control the flow rate in a temperature control line (e.g., a temperature control line supply and / or a temperature control line return) of a vehicle's heating and air conditioning unit. The temperature control line is, for example, a heating line. According to one embodiment, the pipe can have a wall thickness that corresponds to a maximum of 10%, a maximum of 15% or a maximum of 20% of the total pipe diameter. According to one embodiment, the valve can be arranged between a heat exchanger of the motor vehicle (e.g., of the motor vehicle temperature control system) and the front surface of the vehicle. For example, the valve can be located directly in front of the heat exchanger in the (forward) direction of travel. Alternatively or additionally, the crossbar can be arranged in the direction of travel (e.g. directly and / or immediately) behind a motor vehicle front grille. Alternatively or additionally, a main extension direction of the cross member can run perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. Alternatively or additionally, the fastening device can be made of hot-rolled steel (e.g. S420MC). This can, for example, increase weldability. The embodiments, variants, and features of the invention described above can be combined with one another as desired. Further details and advantages of the invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. These show: Figs. 1A-D schematic representations of a motor vehicle according to one embodiment; Figs. 2A-C schematic representations of a motor vehicle according to one embodiment; and Figs. 3A-F schematic representations of a fastening device according to one embodiment. The embodiments shown in the figures are at least partially identical, so that similar or identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals and, to avoid repetition, reference is also made to the description of the other figures for their explanation. Figures 1A-D show schematic representations of a motor vehicle 100 according to an exemplary embodiment. The motor vehicle 100 has a motor vehicle longitudinal direction L, a motor vehicle transverse direction Q and a motor vehicle vertical direction H, which - here by way of example - coincide with Cartesian coordinate axes. The motor vehicle 100 has a front surface 10, which includes a front mask 30. The front mask 30 is shown transparently in Fig. 1B. Fig. 1C shows a magnification of the area behind the front mask 30. A temperature control system 12 is arranged behind the front panel 30. The temperature control system 12 can include, for example, heat exchangers integrated into a coolant circuit, which transfer heat to a vehicle interior and / or absorb heat from a drive unit (not shown). The temperature control system 12 includes a freely suspended valve 12a (e.g. a solenoid valve) which can be designed to control a coolant flow through lines of the temperature control system 12. Furthermore, the motor vehicle 100 has a cross member 14 (here: a front longitudinal cross member), which can be designed as a tube. The cross member 14 forms a fixed support. A mounting device 16 is provided for holding the valve 12a. The mounting device 16 has a crossbar mounting area 18, a central area 20, and a valve mounting area 22. The mounting device 16 is connected to the crossbar 14 via the crossbar mounting area 18 (e.g., attached to and / or fastened to it). The valve 12a is connected to the mounting device via the valve mounting area 22 (e.g., attached to and / or fastened to it). The central area 20 connects the crossbar mounting area 18 and the valve mounting area 22. To increase the load-bearing capacity of the fastening device 16, the central area 20 is designed as a hollow cylindrical tube that extends continuously from the cross strut fastening area 18 to the valve fastening area 22. As can be seen in Fig. 1C, the installation space behind the front mask 30 is relatively densely packed. To bridge the gap to the cross member 14, the central section 20 has a vertical section 20a extending essentially along a vehicle vertical direction H and a horizontal section 20c extending essentially along the vehicle longitudinal direction L. The vertical section 20a and the horizontal section 20c are connected to each other by a bend 20b. In other embodiments, not shown here, a connection via a kink is also conceivable. With regard to load-bearing capacity, it is also advantageous if the vertical section 20a is shorter than the horizontal section 20c. As can be seen, for example, in Fig. 1D and Fig. 2B, the crossbar mounting area 18 does not have to be attached directly to the crossbar 14. It is also conceivable that the crossbar mounting area 18 is attached to the crossbar 14 indirectly via other components, such as a support plate 24. Furthermore, the valve mounting area 22 need not be directly attached to the valve 12a. It is also conceivable that the valve mounting area 22 is indirectly attached to the valve 12a via other components. The carrier plate 24 can have a first attachment area to which the crossbar attachment area 18 is attached and a second attachment area for attachment to the crossbar 14. Figures 2A-C show schematic representations of a motor vehicle 100 according to an exemplary embodiment in various perspective views. As can be seen in particular from Fig. 2B, the valve mounting area 22 and the crossbar mounting area 18 each have a contact surface facing forward in the direction of forward travel F, on which the valve 12a and the support plate 24 respectively are attached by means of a screw connection passing through bores in the contact surface. The crossbar mounting area 18 is arranged, viewed in a motor vehicle vertical direction H, below the valve mounting area 22, i.e. offset in relation to the valve mounting area 22 towards a ground contact surface of the motor vehicle 100. Furthermore, the crossbar mounting area 18 and the valve mounting area 22 are arranged offset from each other in the longitudinal direction L of the motor vehicle. Preferably, the valve mounting area 22 is offset to the rear relative to the crossbar mounting area 18 in the opposite direction of (forward) travel F of the motor vehicle 100. Figures 3A-F show schematic representations of a fastening device 16 according to an exemplary embodiment. To increase the load-bearing capacity of the fastening device 16, the bend 20b already described can have a bending angle (e.g. according to M 3003-1) of at least 80°, at least 90° or at least 100°. For example, the vertical section 20a and the horizontal section 20c can be essentially orthogonal to each other. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the bend 20b has a bending radius R (e.g. according to M 3003-1) which corresponds to at least 1 / 4, at least 1 / 3 or at least 1 / 2 of a total length of the vertical section 20a in the motor vehicle vertical direction H. Furthermore, it is advantageous if the crossbar mounting area 18 and the valve mounting area 22 are designed as plate-shaped sheet metal bodies. In the illustrated embodiment, the crossbar mounting area 18 and the crossbar mounting area 18 define planes that are arranged essentially parallel to each other and offset. For example, it is conceivable that the crossbar mounting area 18 spans a first plane and the valve mounting area 22 spans a second plane, with the first plane and the second plane not intersecting. As can be clearly seen in Figures 3B and 3F, the central area 20 in this embodiment has a pipe end deformed into a flat body (here, by way of example: the pipe end facing the crossbar mounting area 18). However, it is also conceivable that, alternatively or additionally, the pipe end facing the valve mounting area 22 is deformed into a flat body. In this embodiment, the central area 20 is attached at its end to the crossbar mounting area 18 and to the valve mounting area 22, respectively, by means of a welded connection. The fastening device 16 preferably consists of a hot-rolled steel (e.g. S420MC). Fig. 3D shows a section along line AA from Fig. 3B. It can be seen that the central section 20, designed as a tube, is a comparatively thin-walled tube. For example, the wall thickness d of the tube can correspond to a maximum of 1 / 10 of the total tube diameter D. The invention is not limited to the preferred embodiments described above. Rather, a multitude of variants and modifications are possible, which also make use of the inventive concept and therefore fall within the scope of protection. Furthermore, the invention also claims protection for the subject matter and features of the dependent claims, irrespective of the features and claims referenced therein.
