Abstract

The invention relates to a support system (1), wherein the support system (1) comprises at least one first photovoltaic unit (2) with at least one photovoltaic module array (3, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f), wherein the photovoltaic module array (3, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f) comprises at least one, preferably two, photovoltaic modules (4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f), wherein the support system comprises at least two support elements (5, 5a, 5b), wherein a support section (11) is arranged below the photovoltaic module (4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f), wherein a first bearing element (8a) of a first support element (5, 5a) is arranged on the support section (11), wherein the distance X from an outer edge of the photovoltaic module (4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) to the support section (11) corresponds to one fifth of the length L of the photovoltaic module (4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f).
