Abstract

The invention relates to a rear wheel mounting device (14) for a bicycle (10), in particular for an e-mountain bike, with a single-sided rear swingarm (16) to which an axle (44) for receiving a wheel hub (74) is attached. A freewheel drive unit (30) can be slid onto the axle (44). This freewheel drive unit comprises a freewheel hub (46) with a freewheel body (54), a drive element (56), and a bearing mechanism (58). Fastening elements for the releasable attachment of a brake disc (50) are provided on the bearing mechanism (58). Fastening elements for the releasable attachment of at least one gear (48), in particular a pinion or a toothed belt pulley, are arranged on the freewheel body (54). Geometric features (76) are provided for the positive-locking torque transmission between the freewheel drive unit (30) and the wheel hub (74), which interact with one another.The axle (44) is connected to the rear swingarm (16) via a main screw (62) and can be secured against rotation by a locking screw (66). The device enables a compact, modular and maintenance-friendly integration of the drive and brake and is particularly suitable for bicycles (10) with a single-sided swingarm (16) and a full-suspension rear triangle.
