Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for processing a gas mixture containing hydrogen and impurities, in which: - the gas mixture is subjected to a purification process in which pure hydrogen is separated from the gas mixture; and - the residual gas remaining after the separation of the pure hydrogen from the gas mixture, containing concentrated impurities, is subjected to a thermal utilization process in which the residual gas is oxidized by adding an oxidizing agent, in particular air, forming an exhaust gas and releasing heat.
