Abstract

The presented invention relates to a computer-implemented method (100) for operating a vehicle (400), wherein the method (100) comprises: - detecting (101) the interior of the vehicle (400) by means of a number of optical sensors (401), - detecting (103) the state of the vehicle by means of a number of vehicle sensors (403), - assigning (105) optical data determined by the number of optical sensors (401) and vehicle data determined by the number of vehicle sensors (403) to a number of identifiers (209) by means of an artificial neural network (205), wherein the number of identifiers (209) indicates at least a probability of a driver of the vehicle correctly gripping the steering wheel of the vehicle (213), - outputting (107) the number of identifiers (209), - controlling the vehicle (400) depending on the output number of identifiers (209).wherein the artificial neural network (205) is semantically divided into at least a first section (203) and a second section (207), in which only the optical data are processed in the first section (203) and in which data provided by the first section (203) are processed together with the vehicle data in the second section (207).
