Abstract

The invention relates to a tailgate (10) for a motor vehicle (1), comprising a rear sliding panel (12) which is integrated into the tailgate (10) such that it is adjustable between an open position (P1) and a closed position (P2), wherein in the open position (P1) the rear sliding panel (12) provides access to an interior of the motor vehicle and in the closed position (P2) seals off the interior from an environment (2) of the motor vehicle (1), wherein a fastening device (14) is arranged on the rear sliding panel (12) which comprises at least one adjustable hook element (16) which is extendable when the rear sliding panel (12) is moved into the open position (P1) in order to attach at least one object (18) to it, and is retractable when the tailgate (10) is moved into the closed position (P2) to release the object (18). The invention further relates to a motor vehicle (1) and a method.
