Abstract

The invention relates to a display device (8) for a motor vehicle (2), comprising a foldable display (16) with a first display half (14) and a second display half (14) which are attached to one another by means of a hinge (12). The hinge (12) is movably mounted by means of a guide (22) along an adjustment direction (20), and the display device (8) includes an electromechanical adjustment drive (10) by means of which the display (16) is driven.
