Abstract

Tilt angle detection device in a vehicle (1) which has a chassis (3) with several vehicle wheels (10, 11, 12, 13) and several vehicle axles (8, 9) spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction (x) of the vehicle, each of which is assigned at least one of the vehicle wheels, and a vehicle body (2) supported by the chassis (3), wherein the tilt angle detection device (27) has at least one sensor unit (30, 31) by means of which at least one quantity characterizing a tilt of the vehicle body can be detected and at least one sensor signal (a_b, Δ_b; a_RR, Δ_RR) characterizing this quantity can be provided, and an evaluation unit (34) connected to the at least one sensor unit (30, 31) which comprises a neural network (36) by means of which, on the basis of the at least one sensor signal (a_b, Δ_b; a_RR, Δ_RR) at least a tendency (&thgr;N) of the vehicle body (2) is determinable, wherein- the evaluation unit (34) additionally comprises an analytical model (41) by means of which, on the basis of the at least one sensor signal (a_b, Δ_b; a_RR, Δ_RR), at least one second inclination signal (SΔ_2) characterizing an inclination (ΔN) of the vehicle body (2) is determinable, and- the neural network (36) is modifiable taking into account the at least one second inclination signal (SΔ_2).
