The invention relates to a food processing machine (1) for producing food products (2), comprising: a suspension device (10) with a plurality of suspension hooks (11) coupled to a drive train (12) and a drive (13) operatively connected to the drive train (12), which is configured to move the suspension hooks (11) along a predefined transport path; a control device (30) configured to control the food processing machine (1) in a loading operation (BB), wherein the control device (30) controls the drive (13) to drive the drive train (12) in a transport direction (T); at least one transfer device (40) configured to transfer a food product (2) to the suspension device (10) in a transfer area (44), wherein the suspension hooks (11) are configured toIn loading mode (BB), the food (2) is moved sequentially along the transport path (14) into the transfer area (44) to receive at least a section of the food from the transfer device (40). The invention proposes that the control device (30) is further configured to control the food processing machine (1) in a correction mode (KB), wherein the control device (30) is configured to control the drive (13) to drive the drive train (12) against the transport direction (T).
