Electric vehicle and methods for operating one

Abstract

An electric vehicle (2) is described which has an electrical system (4) comprising a fuel cell system (6) with a fuel cell (8) and a hydrogen storage system (10), wherein the fuel cell (8) is connected to the electrical system (4) for energy exchange with the electrical system (4), which has a cargo space (16) accessible to an end user of the electric vehicle (2), wherein the fuel cell system (6) is arranged in the cargo space (16) and is designed as a modular component. Furthermore, a method for operating such an electric vehicle (2) is specified.
