Abstract

The present invention relates to a vehicle door device that can be integrated into or is integrated into a vehicle, the vehicle door device comprising: an upper door module; and a lower door module, which is configured to be attached to a vehicle and pivotable about a horizontal axis, wherein the lower door module has at least two steps arranged parallel to each other and to the horizontal axis, wherein the lower door module is switchable between a ramp state in which the at least two steps are aligned to form a ramp for wheelchairs and a step state in which the at least two steps are aligned to form a staircase; wherein the upper door module is mechanically decoupled from the lower door module, and wherein the upper door module and the lower door module together seal an interior of the vehicle from an environment.Furthermore, the present invention relates to a vehicle with such a vehicle door device.
