Household appliance system with one household appliance and one active accessory

Abstract

The invention relates to a household appliance system (1, 2) comprising a household appliance (1) and at least one active accessory (2), which is preferably detachably connected to the household appliance (1), wherein a power supply interface (13a) electrically connects the household appliance (1) and the active accessory (2), wherein the household appliance (1) has a control unit (14) configured to generate pulse-width modulated signals with at least two different repetition frequencies (T1, T2) in order to supply the active accessory (2) electrically via the power supply interface (13a), wherein the active accessory (2) has a control unit (23) configured to receive the pulse-width modulated signals from the control unit (14) of the household appliance (1) via the power supply interface (13a), and the at least two different repetition frequencies (T1, T2)to recognize T2) the pulse width modulated signals and to operate a first active component (22) of the active accessory (2) differently depending on the recognized different repetition frequencies (T1, T2).
