Abstract

Device (1) for generating a component geometry of a component (2), in particular an external component influencing a flow property of a motor vehicle, wherein the device (1) comprises a test setup (3), in particular a wind tunnel setup, which is configured to determine at least one component parameter, in particular a flow parameter, of the component (2), wherein the device (1) comprises a determination device (5) which is configured, in particular based on artificial intelligence algorithms, to determine a geometry parameter describing a component geometry based on the determined component parameter, and a modification device (6) which is configured to change the geometry parameter, wherein the test setup (3) is configured to determine the component parameter of the component (2) having the changed geometry parameter.
