Abstract
The invention relates to a pressure equalization device for a housing, in particular a battery housing, comprising a base body (2) made of plastic, a cover (3) made of metal, which is directed towards an outside of the housing, and a valve element (4) for emergency opening, wherein the valve element (4) is arranged on the base body (2) and seals against a sealing seat (5) on the base body (2), and wherein a press connection (6) is formed between the base body (2) and the cover (3).
