Methods, systems, and computer program products for selecting a target

Abstract

A computer-implemented method for selecting a target for a control system, the method comprising: determining at least one control agent included in the control system, wherein the control agent is configurable to control one or more targets; determining a plurality of target representations, wherein each target representation indicates a position and preferably a movement of one of the targets relative to the control agent; determining a context representation indicating a current and / or past situational context by an agent component included in the control system; comparing each of the target representations with the context representation by the agent component to determine a respective score for each of the targets; determining a target selection for the control agent based on the scores; and transferring the target selection to the control agent.
