Abstract
The invention relates to a method for providing control data for an ophthalmic laser (18) of a treatment device (10) for generating a ring segment cut surface (12a) in a cornea (26) for an intracorneal ring segment (40), comprising as steps a determination of a course of the ring segment cut surface (12a) which specifies an insertion position for the intracorneal ring segment (40), wherein the intracorneal ring segment (40) to be inserted is curved in a circumferential direction (XY) of the cornea (26), wherein the ring segment cut surface (12a) extends in the circumferential direction (XY) according to the shape of the intracorneal ring segment (40) and is adapted in a depth direction (Z) such that the ring segment cut surface (12a) has a course different from that of the intracorneal ring segment (40),so that, upon insertion of the intracorneal ring segment (40), the cornea (26) is deformed at least in the depth direction (Z) to compensate for a predetermined refractive error; and the provision of the control data that include the course of the ring segment cross-section (12a).
