Abstract

The invention relates to a transport device (100, 200, 300) comprising at least one frame (102; 202; 302) which has a substantially central recess (104; 204; 304) extending substantially parallel to a longitudinal direction (L) of the transport device (100, 200, 300), such that the frame (102; 202; 302) has a cross-section open on one side when viewed in the longitudinal direction (L) in the region of the recess (104; 204; 304), wherein the frame (102; 202; 302) is further associated with an adapter (106; 206; 306) which can be detachably attached to the frame (102; 202; 302) in the region of the recess (104; 204; 304) and extends in a manner attached to the frame (102; 202; 302) in the state attached, extends at least sectionally substantially parallel to a lateral direction (B) of the transport device, which is substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (L), and wherein in the state attached to the frame (102; 202;302) attached state of the adapter (106; 206; 306), the frame (102; 202; 302) when viewed in the longitudinal direction (L) together with the adapter (106; 206; 306) forms at least a sectionally closed cross-section.;
