Abstract

The invention relates to an application device (100) for attaching carrying handles (11) to containers (10), preferably beverage containers (10a), wherein the application device (100) comprises the following: a carrying handle application unit (110) driven by a motor by means of a drive (140), which is arranged above a transport device (200) for transporting containers (10) in a transport direction (T), wherein the carrying handle application unit (110) is rotatable about a horizontal axis of rotation (A) oriented transversely to the transport direction (T); a feeding device (120) for continuously feeding carrying handles (11) to the carrying handle application unit (110);and a pivoting arm (130) pivotable about a pivot axis (S) aligned parallel to the axis of rotation (D) for pressing the supplied carrying handles (11) onto the carrying handle application unit (110), wherein the pivoting arm (130) is movable between a lower pressing position (AP) and an upper reversal position (UP), wherein the upper reversal position (UP) of the pivoting arm (130) is adjustable.
