Abstract

The invention relates to a device (100) for aligning containers (10), in particular beverage containers (10a), with respect to at least one container feature (113), in particular a label position or a print, into a target rotation position, wherein the device (100) comprises: a container transport device (110) for individually transporting the containers (10), and a first optical detection device (120) for capturing actual image data of a shell side of the containers (10) visible from a test side.The device (100) has a second optical detection device (130) which is designed on a back side for detecting a reference container feature, in particular the presence of a barcode, wherein the back side is opposite the side of the container (10) visible from the inspection side, wherein the container transport device (110) has at least one alignment unit (112) for aligning the containers depending on the detected actual image data and depending on the detected reference container features.
