Expansion valve

Abstract

The invention relates to an expansion valve with a fluid channel extending from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet; with a valve body and a valve seat that together define a flow cross-section of the fluid channel, wherein the valve body is linearly displaceable relative to the valve seat by means of an actuator in order to selectively open and close the flow cross-section; with a valve cage that circumferentially surrounds the valve body about a longitudinal axis, wherein the valve body extends in a rod-like manner along the longitudinal axis and is displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal axis relative to the valve seat; a leading end face of the valve body is subjected to a fluid pressure of a fluid in the fluid inlet or fluid outlet and a rear end face of the valve body is subjected to a rear pressure; with a pressure equalization connection for at least partial pressure equalization between the fluid pressure and the rear pressure.The expansion valve according to the invention is characterized in that the pressure equalization connection comprises several pressure-conducting pressure equalization lines parallel to each other, which are arranged one behind the other and at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction around the longitudinal axis.
