Abstract

Communication system (1) for motor vehicles (2), wherein the motor vehicle has a first information output unit, which is preferably integrated into the motor vehicle, and the communication system (1) has a second information output unit (4), which is portable by a user and which has at least one image display device (42) that is suitable and intended to output visually perceptible information to the user. According to the invention, the communication system (1) has a communication interface (6) that enables bidirectional data communication between the first information output unit (8) and the second information output unit (4).
