Abstract
Method for determining a time (t2) of a galvanic opening (32) of a magnetic drive (16) of a circuit breaker (10) by means of a monitoring device (22) of the circuit breaker (10), comprising the steps of: acquiring a drive current profile (28) of the magnetic drive (16) over a switching process of the magnetic drive (16) by means of a detection device (26) of the monitoring device (22); determining a local maximum (30) in the acquired drive current profile (28) and a corresponding local time (t1) of the local maximum (30) by means of an electronic computing device (24) of the monitoring device (22); specifying a circuit breaker-specific opening time interval (34) by means of the electronic computing device (24);and determining the time (t2) of a galvanic opening (32) by adding the opening time interval (34) to the local time (t1) of the local maximum (30) using the electronic computing device (24). Furthermore, the invention relates to a computer program product, a computer-readable storage medium, a monitoring device (22) and a power switch (10).
