THROUGH-POST ANCHORS FOR RESCUE LINE SYSTEMS

Abstract

The present invention provides an anchor device for use in a lifeline system to protect users from the danger of falling. The anchor device provides a secure connection point for a user, such as personnel working at height. In a non-limiting embodiment, the anchor device comprises a base plate, an arch, and an intermediate support element. The arch comprises a first leg and a second leg at both ends, with the two legs being attached to the base plate at opposite ends of a span. The intermediate support element is arranged below the arch, extending from the first leg to the second leg of the arch.In another embodiment, the anchor device comprises a base plate and an arc, each component having a through-hole, each through-hole being coaxial to the others.
