CONTROL OF A HUMAN-PROPELLED VEHICLE AND COMPONENT OF A HUMAN-PROPELLED VEHICLE

Abstract

A control system 10 of a human-powered vehicle comprises an electronic control circuit EC1 configured to perform an auxiliary shifting operation. The electronic control circuit EC1 controls an electric actuator DU2 to rotate a rear sprocket assembly RS without assisting the propulsion of a human-powered vehicle B, and controls a transmission device RD to perform a gear shifting operation in a case where: the cadence CD of the human-powered vehicle B is less than or equal to a cadence limit THC; and the vehicle speed V of the human-powered vehicle B is greater than a speed limit THV. The electronic control circuit EC1 is configured to receive a reference value based at least on the vehicle speed V.The electronic control circuit EC1 is designed to enable the execution of the auxiliary switching operation if the reference value fulfills an auxiliary switching condition. The electronic control circuit EC1 is also designed to prevent the execution of the auxiliary switching operation if the reference value does not fulfill the auxiliary switching condition.
