Bearing cover for fixing a rotor bearing of an electric machine

Abstract

The invention relates to a bearing cap (100, 300) for fixing a rotor bearing (610) of an electric machine (200, 400), wherein the rotor bearing (610) serves to rotatably support a rotor shaft (560) of a rotor of the electric machine. The bearing cap (100, 300) has at least one cooling fluid channel (110) configured to direct cooling fluid from a cooling fluid volume (510) of the electric machine (200, 400) to a bearing chamber (520) of the electric machine (200, 400), and a centering receptacle (120) configured to receive a shaft grounding device (530). The invention further relates to an electric machine (200, 400) with such a bearing cap (100, 300).
