Abstract
A room temperature sensor (1) for detecting thermal radiation in an interior space for temperature control of a heating or air conditioning system, comprising a mounting plate (2) for attachment to a flush-mounted device box (10); a temperature sensor element (4) arranged on a connection plate (3) for detecting thermal radiation; and a cover plate (5) made of a thermally conductive material, wherein the cover plate (5) has a size and shape to completely cover the connection plate (3) and the mounting plate (2) attached in the flush-mounted device box (10) when installed.
