Windscreen cleaning robot

Abstract

A windshield cleaning robot (1) for the inner surfaces (3) of vehicle windshields (4) is described. This robot comprises a robot body (2), a ring-shaped, projecting sealing collar (8) arranged on the underside of the robot body (2), a suction blower (12) configured to draw air from a sealing chamber (10) laterally surrounded by the sealing collar (8) during normal operation, and a number of cleaning elements (20) which are reversibly hinged in a cleaning area (22) arranged on the underside of the robot body (2) and adjustable between a working position (24) and a non-working position, wherein the respective cleaning element (20) projects from the robot body (2) in such a way that the cleaning element (20) is in contact with the inner surface (3) to be cleaned during normal operation.Furthermore, the window cleaning robot (1) has an air guide channel (38) which is designed to supply a partial exhaust air flow (36) of the suction blower (12) to the respective cleaning element (20), wherein the respective cleaning element (20) is articulated in such a way that the cleaning element (20) is moved from the non-use position to the use position (24) under the influence of the partial exhaust air flow (36).
