Abstract
The invention relates to a method for inspecting containers, such as cans, glass containers, or container parts, such as can lids, in a filling line (1) with an inspection device (5) for inspecting containers / container parts with regard to at least two characteristics and with a treatment machine (7) arranged downstream of the inspection device for treating containers / container parts.The method comprises: inspecting containers / container parts using the inspection device with regard to a first characteristic, classifying the containers / container parts as defective based on a first inspection result, and rejecting the containers / container parts classified as defective; inspecting the containers / container parts using the inspection device with regard to a second characteristic, and, based on a second inspection result, influencing the treatment machine by adjusting parameters of a treatment process if a deviation from a limit value of the second characteristic is present. The invention further relates to a filling line with the inspection device and the treatment machine arranged downstream of the inspection device.
