Abstract

The invention relates to a method (100) for testing (104) a power component (1), comprising: - applying (101) a voltage step signal to a first terminal (2) of the power component (1), - recording (102) a resulting current at a second terminal (3) of the power component (1), - determining (103) an impedance of the power component (1) based on the recorded resulting current, - testing (104) the functionality of the power component (1) based on an analysis of the determined impedance. The invention further relates to a computer program, a device, and a storage medium for this purpose.
