Abstract

The invention relates to a bucket (1) for collecting amphibians or reptiles, comprising a bottom (10) and a circularly circumferential side wall (11) which defines a receiving chamber (12) and an upper access opening (11a) of the receiving chamber (12). According to the invention, at least two vertically extending wall surfaces (14a) are provided in the region of the upper opening (11a), which are spaced apart from each other at an angle (Σ) in the circumferential direction of the bucket (1) and extend both upwards and to the side of the bucket (1) from the bucket (1).
