Abstract

The following descriptions relate to a method for computer-aided monitoring of an electrical energy storage device, comprising the following steps: providing at least one function of the energy storage device's impedance over time and / or temperature for each predefined state-of-health (SoH) of the energy storage device; evaluating the functional profile of the at least one impedance function using an evaluation unit, whereby at least one reference temperature and a reference impedance of the energy storage device specific to the respective reference temperature are determined; measuring the impedance of the energy storage device, in particular during operation and / or charging of the energy storage device, using at least one sensor unit; comparing the measured impedance with the reference impedance using the evaluation unit; outputting a warning signal if the measured impedance is greater than or equal to the reference impedance.
