Abstract

The invention relates to a method for diagnosing a refrigeration circuit (10) of a vehicle (1). According to the invention, at least one system parameter (3) of the refrigeration circuit (10) is assigned a respective system parameter threshold (7) that depends on the thermal load of the refrigeration circuit (10). During operation of the vehicle (1), the current thermal load of the refrigeration circuit (10) is determined, and the current actual value (4) of at least one system parameter (3) of the refrigeration circuit (10) is compared with the respective system parameter threshold (7) assigned to that system parameter (3) at the current thermal load of the refrigeration circuit (10). An underfilling of the refrigeration circuit (10) with refrigerant is assumed if a system parameter threshold (7) is exceeded by the current actual value (4) of the respective system parameter (3) of the refrigeration circuit (10).
