The invention relates to a method (100) for controlling the injection of an odorant in at least one supply network (1), wherein the supply network (1) comprises at least one supply line (2) for a fluid and at least one odorant injection device (3), wherein the method (100) comprises at least the following steps: - Acquiring (101) measurement data (MD) of the fluid at at least one network point (4) of the supply network (1), - Transmitting (102) the measurement data (MD) of the fluid to a central control unit (5), - Evaluating (103) the measurement data (MD) of the fluid by the central control unit (5), - Controlling (104) the odorant injection device (3) on the basis of the measurement data (MD) of the fluid by the central control unit (5). Furthermore, the invention relates to a system (200) for controlling the injection of an odorant in at least one supply network (1) and a corresponding computer program product.
