Abstract
A planetarium projector (60) comprises a lens optic (30), a housing (21, 22) in which at least part of the lens optic (30) is arranged, and a diaphragm dome (40). The diaphragm dome (40) has a first partial dome (41) and a second partial dome (42) which are movable relative to the housing (21, 22) to effect a controllable covering of an image field area of the planetarium projector (60). The first partial dome (41) and the second partial dome (42) are movable relative to each other to transition the diaphragm dome (40) between an unfolded state and a folded state.
