Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle wall (10) for an armored vehicle (200), wherein the vehicle wall has a first side (20) attributable to the interior of the vehicle, the vehicle wall comprising: a wall section (14) in which an escape opening (16) is formed; an emergency escape hatch (12) that can be arranged or is arranged in the escape opening; and a lifting device (26) arranged on the first side of the vehicle wall, wherein the lifting device (26) has two lifting units (76A, 76B) that are pivotably mounted on the wall section on opposite sides of the escape opening, and wherein the lifting units are pivotable towards the emergency escape hatch in order to move the emergency escape hatch out of the escape opening. The invention also relates to an armored vehicle with such a vehicle wall.
