Abstract

The invention relates to a circuit arrangement (9) for controlling an inverter (4) for an electric machine (5) in a high-voltage network (1), which comprises a processor (10), a first comparator (14) and a second comparator (15), wherein the first comparator (14) generates a switching signal for an active short circuit (ACC) when a voltage (UDC) across the DC link capacitor (3) is greater than a fixed first reference voltage (Uref1), wherein the second comparator (15) generates a switching signal for a freewheel (FL) when the voltage (UDC) across the DC link capacitor (3) is greater than a second reference voltage (Uref2), wherein the processor (10) is configured to determine a possible maximum generative torque starting from the current operating point (OP), calculates a mechanical power from this, and converts it into an electrical power (PDC).wherein the second reference voltage (Uref2) is determined from the electrical power (PDC) taking into account a current internal resistance (Ri) and a current open-circuit voltage (U0) of the high-voltage battery (2), a high-voltage network (1) and a method.
