Abstract

Rotor for an electric machine, comprising a rotor lamination stack (6) consisting of several axially stacked laminations (1), wherein each lamination (1) has at least one opening (2) and the mutually aligned openings (2) of all laminations (1) combine to form a pocket (7) axially penetrating the rotor lamination stack (6) and having two parallel walls (8), wherein a magnetic element (9) having a rectangular cross-section is received in the pocket (7), characterized in that at least two opposing outer surfaces (10) of the magnetic element (9) bear against the parallel walls (8) of the pocket (7) over a substantial part of their length, wherein a recess (5) widening the opening (2) is provided on at least one perforation edge (3) of one or both end laminations forming an axial end face of the rotor lamination stack (6).into which the sheet (1) is formed by riveting at the end face in contact with the adjacent outer surface (10) of the magnetic element (9).
