Abstract
The invention relates to a storage system (1) for storing hydrogen (H1-H4), comprising at least one container (2a-2d) surrounding an interior space (3a-3d) in which a plurality of metal particles (M1-M4) are arranged interchangeably. The hydrogen (H1-H4) is adsorbed or at least adsorbable onto the metal particles. Furthermore, the storage system includes a heating device (4) by means of which the interior space (3a-3d) can be individually heated to drive off the hydrogen adsorbed onto the metal particles (M1-M4). The storage system also includes a hydrogen outlet (5) for removing the driven-off hydrogen from the interior space (2d). Furthermore, the storage system (1) includes a feed (6) for introducing metal particles (M1-M4) with attached hydrogen (H1-H4) into the container interior (2a) and also a discharge for removing metal particles (M4) from the container interior (3d).
