Abstract
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a PTC heating element (1) comprising the steps: - providing a base body (2) made of a ceramic material, wherein the base body (2) has two essentially opposing first surfaces (3), - applying a metallic adhesive layer (4) to each of the respective first surfaces (3), - applying an electrically conductive functional layer (5) to each of the adhesive layers (4), wherein the functional layer (5) consists essentially of carbon.
