Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a permanently magnetized plastic body extending along a longitudinal axis, comprising the following steps: - Introducing a plastic material comprising a filler made of permanently magnetizable material into a mold cavity by injection molding, wherein the plastic material is simultaneously introduced into the mold cavity via several gate openings such that the plastic material flows into the mold cavity in a predefined direction of inflow and solidifies; and wherein a cylindrical or hollow cylindrical core, forming a radially inner wall of the mold cavity, is overmolded with the plastic material;- Magnetizing the filler in the solidified plastic material such that alternating magnetic poles are formed on a surface of the plastic body or at a predetermined distance from the surface of the plastic body, enclosing at least one boundary line between them along which the magnetic poles extend. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the core forms radial partitions arranged at intervals around the longitudinal axis in the mold cavity, which divide the mold cavity into segment spaces around the longitudinal axis and segment the plastic material around the longitudinal axis and around the core when it is introduced into the mold cavity.
