Abstract

A method (100) for controlling a fuel cell module (10) comprising at least two fuel cell units (11) is proposed, wherein each fuel cell unit (11) includes a gas inlet (12a) and a gas outlet (12b) for fuel gas. The method (100) comprises measuring (101) the respective H2 concentration of the fuel gas in a fuel gas-side duct (21b) downstream of the gas outlet (12b) of each fuel cell unit (11) by means of an H2 sensor (60) associated with the respective fuel cell unit, and controlling (102) the fuel cell module (10) depending on the measured H2 concentrations.
