Abstract

The invention relates to an electric drive train (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising an electric traction machine (12) and at least one wheel (14), wherein the traction machine (12) and the wheel (14) are connected to each other via a force path (18) in a torque-transmitting manner, whereby a torque can be transmitted between the wheel (14) and the traction machine (12), and with a disconnecting device (20) which is configured to interrupt the force path (18) by mechanically separating two force path elements (22) of the electric drive train (10) that provide the force path (18) from each other, thereby preventing the transmission of torque between the wheel (14) and the traction machine (12).
