Abstract

The present invention relates to a pulling and pushing device for a coupling, in particular a central buffer coupling, comprising a spring assembly (4) for receiving compressive forces which, starting from a frontal coupling unit (2) for the articulated attachment of a coupling shaft, act via the spring assembly (4) on a housing box (1) for the transmission of compressive forces to a vehicle structure, wherein the housing box (1) is composed as two detachably connected longitudinally symmetrical housing halves (1a, 1b) which are designed as interchangeable identical components.
