Abstract
A single-row tapered roller bearing (1) for supporting the main shaft of a wind turbine, comprising an outer ring (2), an inner ring (3), and tapered rollers (7) arranged in a row (5) between the outer ring (2) and the inner ring (3), wherein the tapered rollers (7) rotate about a bearing axis (6), the inner ring (3) having a raceway (10, 11) on its radial outer surface (8) and the outer ring (2) having a raceway (10, 11) on its radial inner surface (9) on which the tapered rollers (7) roll. At least one annular sealing element (12) is provided, which seals an annular gap (13) between the outer ring (2) and the inner ring (3) and is attached to an annular mounting surface (14) of the outer ring (2) or of an adjoining machine element (15) and bears against an annular sealing surface (17) of the inner ring (3) with at least one sealing section (16). The inner ring (3) has a first ring surface (19) and a second ring surface (20) on its radial inner surface (18).The first annular surface (19) is arranged in its axial extent below the raceway (10) and the second annular surface (20) below the sealing surface (17), wherein the first annular surface (19) has a smaller distance to the bearing axis (6) than the second annular surface (20).
